(Un)learning my body

A book review that isn't really a book review

Hello,

I hope on this grey and grab Tuesday you are somewhere warm and cosy, surrounded by good books.

This week I've been reading Places I've Taken My Body by Molly McCully Brown. Brown has cerebral palsy and writes about her relationship with her changing disabled body as she tries to see all the places she wants to see. I'm reading this book because I'm about to write a chapter of my own book, about my relationship with my disabled body - and believe it or not I think I'm looking for someone else's wisdom because, 26 years in, I still don't really know how I feel about it all. I'm hoping that as ever, the writing and the figuring go hand in hand.
