2021: A year in books
Six of the best things I read last year
Hello and happy new year!
And so it’s 2022. Before we dive into another year of chaos, I thought we’d start January slowly and optimistically with a bookish issue. It’s frankly too early in the year for anything else.
I read 25 books in 2021, which isn’t exactly stellar but is better than the 10 or so a year I used to get through pre-pandemic (let’s not consider how many books I bought in 2021). Many of them were really, really good so in the spirit of new year lists, here’s the best six. In no particular order:
